I've been wanting to start a simple music blog, and I'm wondering if Mastodon would be a good place to do so. I want to be able to embed Bandcamp and Soundcloud links. I'd also do this from a new account on a new instance. Any suggestions on a good instance to do this on? The embed code that is native on bandcamp does not work, as you can see. Any tips?

It's looking like embedding music isn't a think on mastodon. Hmpff....
@jobi Check out #Funkwhale! It connects to the fediverse just like mastodon, so people will be able to follow you from here, but it's made for sharing music. :)
