FIFA World Cup, teams now not wearing rainbow armband in case the captains get yellow carded
@Ciaraioch In my understanding, it's FIFA that instructed them not to wear the armbands and FIFA that would instruct referees to chuck them out of the field. It's FIFA we should direct most of our anger against. I was hoping someone in power (=England national team?) would take a stance against them.
@csteacher @Ciaraioch #FIFA has been corrupt forever, and the players have power to stand up against them. FIFA has no reason to change anything, they're laughing all the way to the bank, and they know perfectly well by now they can get away with murder.
At this point I'm not mad at FIFA, I'm mad at anyone enabling them - be it the players, sports journalists, or broadcasting networks.
