USPOL, Trump-Russia, Nazis
Ok. So let's talk about Russia and Nazis.
Some people in my timeline are unhappy about Russia being called out for supporting literal Nazis, because 'what about all those other bad things that $insert_state_here have done' and 'it's insulting to the Russians who fought in World War II against Nazis, to say that they're supporting Nazis in 2019'
Let's start with the last one.
Yes. Putin is insulting to Russia, by supporting Nazis. But he's the one who chose to do it.

To the first one:
Yes, all those other $insert_bad_things that $insert_other_state do sure are bad.
But almost nothing else, to my mind, ranks as high on the global badness scale as
INSTALLING LITERAL ACTUAL NAZIS INTO THE UPPERMOST LEVELS OF USA AND UK GOVERNMENTS IN 2019.
This is not 1929. We're not coming at this blind. We have a fair idea of what Nazis stand for, what they did in the past, what they do when in power.
And Putin handed them the world's keys.

@natecull As a Brit, I'm quite surprised to see this claim of "LITERAL ACTUAL NAZIS" in the uppermost levels of the UK government. I believe this to be overstating the case and your qualification of the statement with the phrase "literal actual" makes it seem just plain incorrect.
I could be wrong though, there could be literal, actual Nazis in the UK government that didn't cause a national uproar. I'm curious as to whether you have any objective evidence of this?

Steve Bannon, for one. The Brexit team are up to their neck in him.
"Oh he's not a real Nazi, he's just a... guy who really, really likes hanging around with real Nazis"
Okay then.
So at some point, you will need to move past 'being curious' and move on toward just... looking at what's right in front of your face.
