fucked up that "every person should have their basic needs met regardless of if they work" is a radical idea

@vantablack In the UK we have benefits and social housing that are intended to provide basic needs regardless of whether someone works. The system doesn't work particularly well and plenty of people's needs aren't met but the idea is at least that they should be met. I don't think it's such a radical idea.
