I'm angry and I don't even know why anymore, I just keep finding excuses in life to get mad about. Although I think being mad at my coworker, because they refuse to put the paperwork in alphabetical order is well deserved... Bloody hell, why do I have to go through almost the entire document holder to find B?! Because they put it inbetween documents starting with the letter T, that's why. :(

@Tryphon@mastodon.social people like the one I met are at least some of the userbase if not the major part. So the UX has to be top notch, miles ahead of what they can currently get on the datamining platforms, we need something that is totally frictionless for switching over average people imo. Most of my friends keep telling me I cannot be reached, just because I'm not on messenger, very few downloaded the app I use even though you just download it and use it basically no registration.

@Tryphon@mastodon.social Convenience always comes first, there was a guy in front of me in the que at a computer store the other day, he brought a usb drive to print a file from. The clerk was explaining how it has a virus on it and he should format the device, the answer wa something like uhum... So the clerk asked if he should do it for the guy and he said, yeah I don't know how these computer things work.
You probably imagine it was some old or middle aged dude, but the guy was less than 20.

@strider@mast.linuxgamecast.com Free software is the utopia, open source is just a tool. Open source doesn't have the idea, that every piece of software should be open. It simply tries to convey the message that collaboration is good.
