Stop using this kind of devices for your #HomeAutomation. Out there you can find cheaper and opensource alternatives.
@emanuele what are some of the alternatives? Looking to add something like this to my home. But don’t want to support big data.
@pk my best option is #HomeAssistant home-assistant.io (I use it and it's pretty stable and versatile).
@pk I am actually integrating HomeAssistant with Siri (which is not perfect but better thant Alexa/Google to preserve user's privacy) but you could have a look at https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2019/11/20/privacy-focused-voice-assistant/ (never tried for lack of time but will try sooner or later).
