When your fellow developers set the maximum digits for financial data in the database to 1000 and you have to gently point out that just 100 digits is more than enough to describe every atom in the observable universe.

@Lockdownyourlife I've heard good things about Block Party but it's Twitter only. Would be great to convince them to port to Mastodon (and expose whatever APIs they'd need)

If you're like me, then you were really happy to learn about Mastodon's enthusiastic support for image descriptions, and you were really eager to join in.

Then you went to actually write something and realized you have no idea how to present visual information in a way that is helpful/enjoyable to those who are #VisuallyImpaired or #Blind.
