Seattle Subway: Build the Aurora Line

Aurora represents an incredible opportunity for transit expansion.  The four urban villages north of the ship canal carry a massive capacity for recently upzoned density. The huge lots of big box stores that dot the landscape are a prime target for Transit Oriented Development. Grade separated transit will allow the street to feature wider sidewalks …

Transit Tracker Updates: Now called “Pantograph,” debuting the iOS app, new features

A few months ago, I shared with Seattle Transit Blog readers a side project of mine—the Puget Sound Transit Operations Tracker. This quickly became much bigger than I ever expected it to, with several local news outlets picking up the story, including the Seattle Times. It became very clear to me that we all need …

I use @Nitrokey and #Yubikey for 2fa logging in. I like open-source model from @Nitrokey, but the shape and rigidity of #Yubikey is without a rival. I was even going to throw away the Nitrokey's enclosure and use some epoxy instead.
Going to order some #Solokeys for comparison...

Hello, fediverse! Thought I'd make my #introductions. I'm a software developer in the inland northwest US. Last year I co-founded the Seattle Developers Cooperative with three other members to provide web development for clients and to support open source projects that empower individuals and communities. #cooperative #pnw #seattle #webdevelopment

Saw a flyer in Capitol Hill for hashtag RedPillSeattle. Arguing for #Seattle to go Republican. The background image was some homeless tents.

Redpilling refers to a conversation to the incel / alt right movement.

I tore the flyer down. We don't need that trash here.

#Introduction
What's good everyone. A recent immigrant from another instance. About me:
* S.T.E.A.M Educator (middle, high, university)
*Father of two super dope daughters.
*Really bad coder (Racket, Python, Arduino C)
* Podcast Host: urandom-podcast.info, thajrambles.tk, sometimes contributor to Hacker Public Radio.
* Musician
* Chinese Martial Artist
* Free Software/Free Culture advocate. General GNU/Linux fanboy.
* Emacs vs. vim = Emacs
* GTK vs QT = GTK

So I sign up to pay for librem, and I'm stoked to be supporting open source software, but everyone I search for has no posts? How do I follow anyone and participate in actual conversations?
