So, we are in december and a new #ManjaroARM release is coming up soon.
We have been working hard to get the Pinebook Pro to a place where we feel its ready to be included in the premade images er make.
So, unless something crazy happens, 19.12 will be the first real #PinebookPro release image.
Here's our blog update for December: #PineTime, #PineTab, #PinePhone, all in our final update for this year/decade.

#PinePhone hype!
We finally managed to boot into #ManjaroARM #PlasmaMobile on the PinePhone.
Next we need to actually make it usable.
If you missed that 779 million mail addresses had appeared in a data breach - don't worry, #Nextcloud has not. When you pick a password, we check if it has been breached and tell you to pick another! @troyhunt

On January 14th, 2020, your Windows 7 will stop getting support, software updates and security fixes.
This is a huge risk, and you _need_ to switch operating system!
Why not switch to Linux? It's free, and awesome!
Tell your friends. Friends don't let friends run end of life operating systems.

I love this post:
"When we first approached hardware manufacturers almost two years ago with this project most of them instantly said “No, sorry, impossible, we can not help you.”. Others warned us, that it could never work, that it was too complicated, “the industry does not do that” and so forth.
And yet here we are, later than we wanted, but we are actually shipping first hardware! It is possible but it comes at a price." #Librem5
Just updated the #PinebookPro kernel in the repo this morning.
No new features in this one. Its just rebased on release of 5.4 instead of an RC.
Hey, anyone running the default Debian image on your #PinebookPro:
MrFixit has released update v1.5, bringing updates to the kernel, uBoot, Chromium, and Firefox!
Click that update icon in the bottom right corner to get it!
We just uploaded Preview 4 of #ManjaroARM for the #PinebookPro
This image includes the stable wifi and bluetooth fixes we have done.
Users of Preview 3 should be able to update the system, to get those fixes.

Had issues with the trackpad and keyboard on your #PinebookPro? Well we've got a solution for you. Improved tracking, no more keys cutting out, and other improvements.
Since I spent more time on this joke than I should've, I'll just upload it here.

Just finished preparing my presentation for the European Parliament on Tuesday. I’m representing @Mastodon and small technology there on a panel to discuss the future of the Internet and I hope we can get the regulators to at least not fuck things up for our ethical alternatives.
My slides (not hugely meaningful without the narrative but in case you’re curious) are here:

Remind me again why I let you talk me into this, @Gargron? ;P
