@Iaintshootinmis a commercial option is Tinybeans. It’s a subscription model (for parents), but family and friends can see the updates for free via email. I appreciate that you supposedly retain control of your child’s photos according to their “promise”, and as far as I know none of the photos are searchable outside your curated bubble.
