Why people are saying "Free and open services, but not for everyone". Excluding people from a free and open platform for their ideals seems to fly in the face of the very idea of a free and open platform.

I don't agree with hate speech. Anyone can get into some serious legal trouble if they are threatening to harm or plan to harm any group or person. I don't feel like it is our job as technologists to marginalize anyone for their beliefs.
