I made a discovery. Inside the sc-plugins.tar.gz file there is another gzipped file called all-2.0.tar.gz which gets placed in the /opt/sc/data/nasl directory when Tenable.sc processes the new plugin feed. I found out that this file was dated in May, even though the new plugin set had the file with the current date. I updated that lone file and I was able to manually upload the current plugin set in the Nessus Scanner. Now Tenable.sc won't sync with the scanner. This is bizarre.
