Nearly 30 years ago, I worked as a Unix Hardware Engineer, then Unix/Linux support, then supported 45 statisticians running Unix, and even as a IT Security Analyst. Now? I can't even get a company to look at my resume and give me a chance. A message to the younger folks that I follow: don't let what happened to me, happen to you. At 57, I'm not sure if I have any years left in IT or the tech industry.
