I deactivated my #Facebook account. I had been using it to try and spread #cybersecurity and #privacy tips to friends and family; to make myself available. After 3 years of trying to spread awareness and inform people, it slowly became obvious that they didn't "want" to know when #Meta abused their access to information, or what things they could do to be safe. If it meant any amount of slight inconvenience or action on their part, they didn't care, so I left and probably won't be back.

I haven't been particularly active on there since I have more of a following here; most of my stuff was auto-posted from my now deleted Twitter account, but Friendica does have some features Mastodon lacks that makes it more akin to a proper Facebook replacement.
