It's Disability Pride Month and I want to remind folks:
1) Not all disabilities are visible. In fact, none of mine are. You can't see the birth defect in my spine, nor the autoimmune diseases I have.
2) Disability rights are FAR behind where they should be. Most folks don't have access to the benefits and care they need.
3) Support your disabled authors & artists as much as you supported your queer authors/artists last month. <3
