Here's a quick look at how our redesigned app menu (e.g. "Hamburger" menu) is progressing.
On the left is Thunderbird 102.
On the right is Thunderbird 111 from our Daily channel.
(Both running on Linux.)
Hopefully you'll notice it just LOOKS better. Crisper font readability, and matching icons for each action.
Update notifications and Sync sign-in populate the top, and it's now much faster to get to your Density and global Font Size settings.

@thelinuxEXP How bothered should I be about Windows 11 sending pings to Steam? What's the relationship there? Is this data Valve has specifically requested?
As a HUGE proponent for gaming on Linux via Proton, and a Steam Deck owners....yea this bothers me.

@stux STOP BUYING SO MUCH!! Buy cheap, buy twice. To fix this, do research and buy quality of quantity.
You don't need a new drink tumbler every year, they could last 20-30 years! A 10 year old laptop often work plenty well for most for general web browser or office tasks, especially if you install Linux. And right-to-repair is SOOO important. You own it. Fix it.
@fribbledom The idea of delivered food sounds great, I understand the appeal. But to be so reliant on a non-local source for food and the fact that they could cut the cord on you at any time they please is kinda a scary thought to me. It's not razors or soap subscriptions, it's the most important supply you need! Weekly meal prep is a great alternative for busy and cost cutting people.
