One of the best parts about Cale Makars goal last night is how it's breaking peoples brains about the offsides rule. Love it or hate that's the rule and he knew exactly what he was doing according to the interviews.

So are there any open source hybrid smart watches that anyone knows about? My expectations aren't high but figured this is the better place to ask. I do love my Withings watch but am wondering if there's other alternatives to using some of the features rather than connecting it to Google Fit

Ok Fediverse, one thing I absolutely love about the Birdsite is watching historians and other academics share their work in public to improve our understanding. I think I'm just gonna start cross posting some things I find interesting as I come across them. Maybe we can make a new hashtag? Really excited to try out Mimic 3 Text To Speech engine by @mycroft_ai when it comes out here soon. Looking forward to seeing how much of an improvement it is and hopefully try it offline too.

Trying to imagine what my next job would be thinking about the parts of my current job that I enjoy. I really love open standards and #webcomponents. Lately I've been digging in more to #ally standards as well. In the past my work has focused on bundling, developer tooling, and trying to improve CI processes.

I think if I was to try and sum up my work it's that I like enabling teams and individuals to go faster.

Been working on a component library with Storybook JS. Are there any best practices for adding a story around typography? I want to display font and headings to make sure they're correct but this seems harder to accomplish than expected....

So far my biggest gripe about Tusky and it's forks are that I can only have 5 tabs at a time. What's with this restriction? It seems arbitrary. How am I supposed to keep lists of topics and ppl? Maybe the official Mastodon app is different 🤔
