Walking up to midterm election results that are surprisingly better for Democrats than I was expecting. They could still lose control of Congress, but that's looking less certain than it was last night.

@mhall119 I am extremely impressed with where we are this morning and feeling a lot more hopeful. By all accounts we’re doing better than we should historically, we’re beating the polls, the youth vote turned out. Yes it’s ridiculous that the psycho hogs somehow got half the vote still, but across the country we passed measures to protect reproductive rights and marriage equality, put black, gay, and trans people in positions of power. It could have been so much worse

@danirabbit @mhall119 youth turnout was big. Though I don't think that I count as "youth" anymore for the exit polls 😔
