This DOJ press release is a pretty big deal. Given the alarming number of voter intimidation attempts already it's certainly the right move but it's sad that it's necessary.

@RadioSilence many of the instances intimidation tie back to the conspiracy theory floating around Truth Social that got started a few months ago and recently got ratcheted up to 11. So there's not really any reason to be concerned that conspiracy theories might pop up. The best way to ensure that the law is working is to enforce it.
@mcneely It's a great decision, but I already feel dismayed at the thought of the MAGA conspiracy theories it will give rise to.
