I was on mastodon.social but I've migrated here to have some more like-minded technology people in my local feed.

Apparently, posts don't follow you when you migrate, so here's my #introduction

I'm a UK-based broadcast engineer that contributes to open source projects in my free time. I mostly contribute to elementary OS, but I've been running Fedora and working on a secret project too recently.

Not ready to reveal it yet, in case I don't get far enough with it. But follow for subtle hints.

@mcneely Nope, good guess though! Is that not kind of already a thing, just needs someone to maintain it?

@davidmhewitt I'm not actually sure. I know that there's Pantheon on Fedora and but I'm not aware of a simple way that it is setup for SilverBlue at all. There's Sodalite which sort of works?

@mcneely Ah, I think it was Sodalite I may have been thinking of.

Tbh, I only ran Silverblue once and gave up after I couldn't get my YubiKey GPG/SSH setup working. It works on non-Silverblue, although it is a bit more flaky compared to Ubuntu based things.

So, with that said, I'm not fully sure on what would be involved in proper Pantheon on Silverblue.
