I'm at my daughter's godfathers house. He has a #Playstation 4 with VR.

I'm left-handed. My entire self-perception is wired to left as dominant side.

What this means is that when I experience VR built by right-handed people for right-handed people I feel nauseated...

Because this #VR wasn't made for people that feel the world like I do. And VR is made to be as immersive as possible, but my brain screams "this feels wrong" and I have to make a conscious effort to learn how to play with crossed hands. In practice it excludes me from using it.

@Lanika I have an Oculus Quest and it seems like it has good ambidextrous support. Though perhaps not all the games do.

I'm curious now, what things in particular make VR difficult to use left handed?
