[Moved] Polychrome  

Trying to get #VR for #Linux:

- HTC Vive is strongly biased against Linux.

- Oculus is Facebook, so no thank you. (And they don't Linux).

- Valve Index is very high priced and will be replaced in the next year or so with whatever Project Deckard is.

And so the waiting continues. :blobshrug:

HTC promised Linux support but never delivered so Valve did.

@joshfowler including the Cosmos and Cosmos Elite? I can only find forum complaints about how it does not.

@joshfowler yes that one works but is no longer being sold. The Cosmos and Cosmos Elite require specialized drivers that apparently only run on Windows.

@polychrome That sucks, I'm guessing not many people are working on reverse engineering them because the Index has great support.
