My weekend project was to dig into #BespokeSynth, an #opensource virtual #modular #synthesizer. I'm still not sold on modular... hoping to get over the hump where it feels fluent and effortless the way #Renoise feels for me now. Still, it's very well developed, and I see a lot of potential in its unlimited way of working. The dev's YouTube channel is helpful too.

@tedcurran Whoops, #BespokeSynth took up my whole afternoon :) Such and excellent #FOSS project. I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before.
@jk Agreed. A lot of the other similar projects like VCV Rack and Cardinal seem to get more attention but this one works with my brain in a way those emphatically do not. It's just enough like a DAW that I feel less adrift.
