If I follow someone on a different instance. I see they have a count of 1000 Toots. When I go to their profile, I can only see the content of 1 Toot. Is that something about Mastodon I'm not understanding, or is that something wrong with the instance I'm on?
@jk when you follow people, you don't get their history, just where they're at now.
Of course, any instance may already have already recorded their history.
