Craving instant ramen but gotta be on a calorie deficit. Anything I eat rn is going to show up on the scale tomorrow. Really don’t know how some people can be so positive about their bodies. I still feel like shit about mine, even after real measurable progress.

@ifazk when I started counting calories, I discovered that I was eating nowhere near enough! but... I wasn't losing weight. Bodies and metabolisms are very complicated and definitely not a simple in/out math equation.
I've had a complicated relationship with self-image my whole life. The most progress I've made was discarding guilt around food and eating nourishing food that made me feel good whenever I want. I've found http://www.streetsmartnutrition.com/gentle-nutrition-for-stress/ comforting and intuitive.
