Makes sense.
I have a very hard time wrapping my head around that. How can someone, in 2021, think that fascism is an alright choice?
Hollywood has produced innumerable circle jerk movies about how the US beat fascism with freedom and good ol'fashioned self sacrifice.
The amount of people who don't realize that "Starship Troopers" is a study of fascism makes me think that maybe we do need to make voting rights a privilege...

I enjoy both but they're not for the same thing.
Tea is for fun, for catching up with a dear friend, for enjoying pictures of yesteryears with grandma.
Coffee is for life, coffee is for pain. Coffee will kick your ass first thing in the morning and void your bowels. If you're not suffering from your morning beverage, how do you know if you're really awake?
Jokes aside: ☕ for me please!
I think one of the bigger moments that made me realize that the world was messed up was the US v MS lawsuit. As a budding tech enthusiast with some coding experience I was very interested in all of it, and very disappointed.
Looking into the Wikipedia entry on this I found a fun little gem: "Industry pundit Robert X. Cringely believed a breakup was not possible, and that "now the only way Microsoft can die is by suicide.""
How prescient.
13 years old me in 1999: "Wow, what a bunch of mean people, good thing our real world leaders aren't like that"
I seriously felt like this was pushing it.
What a naive idiot I was.

> many people, including Quebec's premier, deny that systemic racism exists in the province
Anyone who says that Québec isn't a racist province is full of shit. The more distance I took from my home province the more evident its flaws were. I love Québec but there's a lot of work to be done before we can be proud of ourselves.

Education for profit is such a disgusting concept. Only our sick system could've come up with it.
Just doing my part!
I'm sharing the site everywhere so people know to stay away from it.
Thank you for warning us!

I feel you quite acutely. In the pre social-media days I'd re-read the same graphic novels over and over again.
