People act like Lyft and Uber are somehow superior to #transit but my trip to my girlfriend's tonight was the following options:
1. Lyft - $30 and a 25-30 min wait for my driver to show up.
2. Transit - $3 and a 20 min wait for my bus to show up.
I'll admit that there was also an 8 minute walk on both ends of the bus ride but I'm pretty sure I still made the correct choice taking transit.

Besides it is nice that the price of transit changes once per year max vs. the rideshares with Snowflake Fares™️ powered by BistroMath (every one is unique!)
@msh @thatgeoguy I wish that transit was more consistent in Gatineau and especially going to Ottawa. Uber from my place to downtown is 25$ one way on average but it’s an 8 mins drive.
I’ll test it more next summer but I already know it’s not very robust.
