Thank you for making me aware of this! It is always a sweet pleasure seeing a church turn on itself. It comes at a most opportune time, while the church is being actively criticised in Canada. Maybe we'll see them loose even more followers. This is 2021 it's about time fairy-tales get put to bed.

I'm realizing that my toot might have used words that need softening.
I am very okay with whatever people believe in, so long as they leave me out of it. It's the institution that of religion that I take offense to.
I was raised as a Catholic and went to a Catholic school. The amount of emotional and mental abuse I was subjected to for being doubtful about religion is something no child should be subject to. Luckily my parents were a lot more lenient than the nuns.
