@mpjgregoire @keithzg I dunno, man. I'm pretty into Mario Kart Tour. 😂

Hey man, have you looked at other options? The LG Velvet coming to mind as a good "flagship killer". Quotes because those kinda don'T exist anymore. That being said, the mid-tier segment has a lot of good options right now. What's your main need? Camera, screen etc.?

On a side note, I really am looking into getting a Pinephone to toy with it, so cheap and I love my Pinebook Pro.

Oh and my Librem 5 shipped today :D

@fssofdeath @mpjgregoire @keithzg Mid-range is totally fine for me, and generally what I've been buying for the past few phones. I like Pixel because of the timely updates and 3-year support (which is pathetic but good by Android standards), I wasn't even considering the Pixel 5 before I saw it was on sale, But I will look at some other options.

A good camera is important, but timely software updates matter a lot to me.

Definitely don't do Samsung then. I got my Android 10 update in the spring. They keep the security patches up to date but everything else is slow.

For "long term" support and fast updates a Pixel device would be the way to go I think.

@fssofdeath @mpjgregoire @keithzg Samsung has at least committed to 2 (or is it 3) years of updates, but only for their flagship phones.

@ink_slinger @mpjgregoire@mamot.fr @keithzg

I bet it's technically only a year but it takes them 3 years to push the update :P

Jokes aside, it is reassuring because my Note 9 is 2 year old now and I don't wanna invest in another device for a while.

@fssofdeath @mpjgregoire @keithzg Sorry, was having trouble logging in earlier. I went with the Pixel 4a and so far I love it.
