@flav if Communism was executed true to form, for the people etc it may have worked. Democracy would also work if it was done as intended. I suspect it got corrupted.
Need to go exercise now for an hour, but a parting thought is: Imagine if voters had to pass a short exam on what all parties stood for, before they were allowed to vote ;-) and if politicians were actually held to account on their ethics and principles....
@danie10 Exactly! Here in Canada the politicians are forcing us to stay inside while they spend their vacations in the Caribbean. My father said Yugoslavia was the only place where Communism was implemented correctly and people had a good life but after the fall of Communism they had the same ethnic tensions US has today and NATO broke it into different countries.
