I mostly use free and #OpenSource software for my daily life, work, and my servers, so I thought it would be cool to showcase everything I use on a daily basis, from my operating systems (#Linux of course), to what my servers run, and the app that let me do my job:

@thelinuxEXP Heyo. Nice video 🙂

But I reacted at what you said 10 seconds in: "Well, excluding in my phone because most of the apps that you will run on a phone are proprietary".

If you use iPhone, then yes, but not on an Android. I have 77 apps installed and all of them are open sourced and not installed through Play Store 🙂

OpenTracks, QKSMS, Simple Dialer, Privacy Browser, FairEmail, Simple Gallery, Moshidon, Open Camera, Simple Calendar, AntennaPod, and many more. All from F-Droid.

@edgren @thelinuxEXP How does being on an iPhone prevent one from choosing predominantly open source apps?

@AngryAnt @edgren Yeah, the fact I use default proprietary apps on my phone isn’t due to it being an iPhone, it’s because they do what I want and I don’t use my phone much, so I don’t care much about customizing everything there.

I have zero proprietary apps on my DeGoogled phone as well. You rarely need them.
