I absolutely agree with the second part. I recommend the Facebook container from Mozilla (works only in Firefox), that simply cuts out Facebook all together.

@ferryoons @withaveeay Are you lucky to be in the EU? If so, you could ask @noybeu, they could help you out. This does not sound like legitimate interest and (if you did not accept all) should be illegal under the GDPR, AFAIK.
