I really like the actual discussion about Twitter, persons wanting to leave that platform and finding themselves in a choice. Insta, TikTok, maybe even good ol' Facebook are valid options. Everybody has to choose, what fits best to them or their target group.

For myself, I absolutely LOVE the idea (and realization!) of #mastodon and will probably stay here. I'm a fan of #openSource but "sadly" i'm a gamer and that kind of stops me from fully migrating to #Linux :(

@beejay Well, you could also put everything you need for #Gaming in a #VM and run #Linux as your host system you use for everything else.

@elshid Would only make sense, if i'd use a dedicated GPU and pass that directly through to the VM. Everything else should have a huge negative impact. Then i'd need a second monitor for that...Well, not the best solution for demanding games, but sure one for desktop applications like Affinity Photo!
