Which do you think is better:

1-My old reliable far-range and high clip auto that has some extra rounds and some damage boost after a kill

2-Or this week's Xur's offering of a lower range but more stable with a chance at x3 damage boost rampage?

I can't decide. Both have their uses. I've been killing adds and the targetting discs on Mars past the crafting room trying to see the range distance improvement with dmg falloff, and I'm not seeing any difference.

Is rampage even "significantly" triggerable in PVP? Like, if you kill one guardian and a get 1x boost, does that really impact the TTK to make a difference?

I rarely get 2 or more people in a row.

@ellabellafull Mine was my go-to for absolutely agree. Corkscrew/Steady/Tap the Trigger/Rampage. May dig it out again, the kill count it has is making my brain itch!

I wouldn't go for rampage in PVP, I'm nowhere near good enough to ever proc it.

@ellabellafull I'd highly likely stick with your current Zen/Rampage for PVE, that's a good pairing.

But I won't pretend to be an expert!

@fnxweb my old gun is the multiclip one. I've read that multiclip damage boosts last longer than rampage.

@ellabellafull Could well be, I can't hold them all in my head, esp with all the seasonal buffs and nerfs!
