Just as with guns, swimming pools and cars. States doesn't kill people, they allow people to kill. That is why I am for regulations on cars and guns.

States shouldn't be built in a way that makes killing easy, quiet the opposite they should be built to make killing impossible.

A driver is a murder, a gunslinger is a murder. A leader shouldn't be.

Swimming pools are more complicated.

@HeavenlyPossum if states are violent people aren't responsible for their actions.
I know a group chat of people that should* serve the rest of their life in prison for their actions, but according to you it was the state that did it.

States are social constructs that exist in part to abolish responsibility for peoples actions, this only work if the state is violent rather than permits violence.

*obviously no one should be in prison, but for the sake of the argument.

I need to be far more careful with how I approach people here. I have burnt more bridges then I have built.

I am not good at the social rites expected, in part because of neuro divergence, esl and the lack of cultural awareness.

I am trying, but it's really hard to be careful without being completely isolated. This is one of few forums that I feel somewhat comfortable being.

I can't decide of Trump does or doesn't realise that without USA backing we in Europe has to be able to meet Russian aggression on our own. If we in Europe could meet Russian aggression, we would have no reason to tolerate their continued existence.

As far as I can tell without the US guarantee, it is a matter of time before Europe decided it's cheaper to eliminate the enemy on the border. Then maintaining the capacity to do so in the future.

After about twenty years of stagnant living conditions we seems to be in a life satisfaction crisis.

Little Marco is apparently not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Things are going better than planned. I have a functioning system with only minor inconveniences left to deal with.

So if someone knows how to fix kaymaps on Gentoo, login in qingy, how to boot plasma in a window, or how to get loginctl hibernate working. Feel free to speak up.

@lispi314 their exist a huge difference between recognising the current legal fiction, and supporting them in principle. I don't comment on the second, as I find it utterly uninteresting. Whatever I support the current system or not, it's the one we live in. I do however support any effort to make our environment more habitable.
