I believe it's about development of new standards, not existing ones.
"With respect to automobiles, [...] The European Union and United States commit to enhance opportunities for technical cooperation between EU- and US-domiciled standards development organisations with the objective of identifying and developing standards for the transatlantic marketplace in key sectors of mutual interest."
@piiabartos it reads like a bad translation...
It's monstrous to think some would want to take ownership of my voice simple because I am disabled.
"too preoccupied with whatever we could, we forgot to ask if we should" - paraphrasing some guy
Assuming you have an older computer I would go for a latest generation AMD card, Nvidia struggle on older computers. The 9060xt/16GB is what I would buy in todays market.

I think the bigger issue is one of perceived truth. Their exist a click of people that seems to belive society in its entirety is political theatre, the so called big government.
That is the only way I have been able to rationalise the belief that banning abortion, vaccines, or what have you could classify as small government.
I think the "we won't do it with out your blessing" is a last gambit to get Trump on board, I don't think they would let Trump veto our support.

@Lyle @futurebird I have started to wonder if the imbalance between the perceived safety of car users, and the actual safety of other road users isn't the causes of more harm than the safety system prevents.
For every car user we save; how many other road/street user do we kill or maim?

The military has a set amount of time they need to be in the air for training. Not to mention the, us, military is infamous for bad allocations of resources.
California is within the 100(?) mile of the border where law enforcement can ask for assistance from the military. I doubt military culture would allow leadership to turn down any request, the military take a lot of pride in showing up when asked.
I actually like the "new" name, for too long have we allowed double speak in agency names.
American companies announce only 1,494 new jobs in August, the lowest for the month since 2009, per Bloomberg.
Layoffs surged 39% to 85,979.
And the US now has more unemployed than job openings for the first time since April 2021.
You don’t realize how weak the economy is.
Don’t quit your job. Now is not the time.
If you lose your job, it will to take a long time to find another one.
The economy is probably fine, assuming you only mean gdp. We are probably seeing a massive rise in productivity, because of AI.
AI is fundamentally useless at doing anything then being average, as it turns out a lot of employers would love to replace their staff with the average output off their staff.
