@gsuberland I am trying to originate all the different parts in my head, would it be a PCB flat as a base with 64 towers of components sticking up?
@gsuberland I wasn't really thinking about shelf mounting. I was more thinking about it as a free standing device, and your concern about bulk being aesthetic in nature.
@gsuberland couldn't you use bus bars? Two copper bars shouldn't be too intrusive.
@mrsbeanbag you might turn out to be more right then I thought, news recently reached me that the DOJ is opening a probe into Swedens sale of Gripen to Brazil. They already did it once before, otherwise this would be the kind of pressure that I would expect.
Every sale of military equipment is corrupt, but is also covered by national immunity. An investigation can't really do much, other than apply diplomatic pressure.
@gsuberland if the difference is in the order of a single hz I think it's fair to describe them as being the same frequency.
@bri_seven @gannet @futurebird you can imagine how confused and mad people were at Sweden pouring millions of dollars to build girls toilets in Afghanistan. While at the same time moving towards gender neutral restrooms as default domestically.
@melivia @goatsarah
In my experience that's just how people with neuro-typically personality dysorder cope. If they need to call them self supper heroes to actually treat their child as human, I am happy to support them.
@mrsbeanbag I may have described NATO HQ as an office building in Belgium, but after recent expansion it's the third largest office building in the world. After the Octogon, where the Egyptian dod is housed, and the Pentagon where the us dod is taking up space.

@mrsbeanbag I am very dyslexic. And I have learnt a love of word play from Japanese, which and witch may be deliberate because I find it amusing. and because I was unsure of how to spell which.
@mrsbeanbag the Babel fish solution of everyone magically speaking English isn't quiet as satisfying. Inventing a whole language is quiet an effort though.
@mrsbeanbag honestly this is really scary, because I never learnt the difference between Swedish and English grammar. I have no clue with witch I am speaking, or more likely what horrible amalgamation thereof. Mostly it doesn't cause problems, but every once in awhile I get a feeling that what I wanted to say and what was heard isn't quite, or even close to, the same.
@mrsbeanbag I don't think so. But I am speaking Swedish with English words, so what do I know.
@mrsbeanbag their exist a small community of revivalists that want to promote it as an alternative to English, they have their success every once in awhile.
My understanding is that they approaching numbers equivalent to Esperanto, or at least that is their main point of compression.
Yeah, that sounds familiar know that you say it.
Latin, and Hebrew is both really weird situations. Latin is apparently used as faux lingua franca, when English is inappropriate.
I am more then happy to admit if I made a mistake, but I was under the clear impression that the Celtic language, on Great Britain, was pretty much dead from common use, before the revival efforts started.
@mrsbeanbag gaelic, it's completely assimilated.
I called Swedens treatment exemplary because I am not awere of any genocide committed against the sami in Sweden, except the northern crusade, I will ofcourse retract that statement if I am made awere of such a genocide committed by an entity that can plausible be connected to the Swedish state.
@mrsbeanbag Sweden also had a strange interpretation of the rights of indigenous people, and therefore fought to not have the sami recognition as such. The Swedish states treatment of the sami would be shocking, unless it was for every other western government treatment of their's indigenous people. Compared to other countries Swedens treatment of the sami is nothing but exemplary.
@mrsbeanbag one of the rights listed is the childs right to access the parents religion and culture, also the right for the child to know their parents and ancestors. This somehow got interpreted in Stockholm as taking away the states abilities to protect children from abuse, thankfully they have reconsidered that interpretation.
@mrsbeanbag I appreciate that, but I am as much interested in the artifact as its content.
