@enoch_exe_inc @mousey @arstechnica not to be pedantic. But a disease is defined by disregulation of the body. bio-weapon could at best be the cause of a disease, and only after a person was exposed. As far as I know, no one has been exposed to human synthesised pathogens.
Whenever someone on TV asks "Am I going to die" and the TV doctor says "no" I just want to scream.
The correct answer from a person of science should probably be " yes, someday, but not from this".
