my computer's PSU has started doing this thing where, before you even power on the PC, it won't even power up into 'standby' for the first few minutes after you supply power to it. you can see the lights on connected devices switch on and then off over and over, like it's measuring the rails and finding them lacking in some way. every day it takes more attempts, today it took like 3 whole minutes. everything works fine after that. so everyday i'm like. aah probably not a problem. probably
i've tried re-seating every power connector and removing USB devices etc. i think the power supply is just old. maybe can't deal with the inrush current anymore
