I'm starting to see people liking some very random posts of mine... replies mid-conversation where I've only posted a 🙂 and that sort of thing. Some of them are fairly obvious bots when I go look at their profile, but most aren't definitely (although they may be).

So far I'm just ignoring them unless they misbehave in some more ostentatious way, but should I be making more effort to block them to cut down on their network reach or similar? Or are they fine to ignore unless and until they misbehave?

@denny nah, liking random posts isn't harmful, just ignore it. It's always best practice to only enforce rules intended to reduce actual harm, or behaviour intended to obscure actual harm. At this point I see no reason to believe liking random posts do either. Whatever they are bots or not should also be considered insignificant, ask why does it matter if an interaction is from a bot or not.
