TIL: If you're blocked by NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID on a page in Chrom(e|ium) you can literally type "thisisunsafe" and it'll bypass everything. It's like a cheat code.

This is great for local development with alternative domain names (like testing things out for different TLDs when you don't have the certificates to hand).

Kommt die Industrie damit durch, könnte das Hostern auch dann eine Handlungspflicht auferlegen, wenn die behauptete Illegalität beanstandeter Inhalte juristisch umstritten ist.

Wollte von Twitter wegkommen, habe hier nach interessanten Accounts gesucht. Direkt festgestellt, dass Querdenken auch auf Mastodon unterwegs ist und kurz verzweifelt. Wer auch immer das lesen mag: Vernünftige, progressive Folgeempfehlungen gerne gesehen, danke 🙃

Es wäre naiv zu glauben, mit der Abwahl von #Trump könnte sich so etwas, wie die Stürmung des Kapitols nicht wiederholen. Bei den Republikanern ist nichts mehr wie es war. QAnon, antidemokratische Haltungen & offener Rassismus sind heute salonfähig. Mir macht das Angst.

@alcinnz @jollyrogue @theruran There need to be outspoken exemplars who demonstrate that being totally #FOSS is possible. They need to be outspoken, because they're competing against $billions in (generally misleading) marketing from megatech each year. Ideally, their message will be amplified by those who aren't fully #FOSS but are motivated to work that way. Which should be all of us. We all need to recognise that proprietary software is not an acceptable end point.
