has anyone used/played tags for audio in markdown?

i'm using league/commonmark markdown parser for php and was wondering if anyone discovered/found or wrote an extension for media - like audio/video?

so instead of writing html, one would just use something like

![](song.mp3) or similar that would output <audio> html tag?

@luka There is a way to inline audio files for *some* markdown parsers that support also multimedia extensions. As an example, I use this syntax in Patchwork on the [SecureScuttleBut](scuttlebutt.nz/) social network:
![audio: Underneath](noise.rocks/~ben/music/underne)
