@totoroot I use Atril, which I suppose is very similar to Evince. Works well for me.

The reasoning is more or less: "the countless possibilities of Linux distract me, so I prefer to BUY a proprietary system with not too many tweaking possibilities and an antivirus software (a must) to get things done". Well, doesn't work for me.

"accurate information" is the keyword ;-)
It might be the Intel's BIOS vulnerabilities and the OSes' patches to make them more secure. All that takes some resources. That is my theory, I am not an expert.
