So my mum was a private flight attendant growing up, so all my toys and movies were in english. I basically grew up bilingual + discovering the net as a kid pushed me harder into pretty much only consuming English content.

So my parents always held me quite high, they told all their friends his kid speaks English so fluently and so on. And since my mun finished her bachelor's in linguistic when I turned 6 she is super fixated that im a language genius or something

It was super weird at first, coz me and all the bois mostly consume, talk about, and recommend each other, media written or spoken in English. So for the first month or so she just sat there without a clue about what we're talking about xD

But yeah ever since she told me she doesn't speak en I have been her translator at the movies, museums and memes, but mostly memes. She sometimes gets worked up about English, but in a way I do get it

Turns out that the previous song I learned to play on the piano is her favorite (English) song! Human by the killers.

So thats the first goal, get her playing human. Yesterday morning I found my old Pokémon cassette tapes and since she is Pokemon fan no 1 I sent her a picture of the tapes and we wanna marathon the entire thing.

Thing is that the tapes are in English, and she has an eternal battle with learning a new language.

So yesterday's party at my house turned into a concert of sorts, my brother got his guitar, his friend played bass, my dad played the cajón (percussion) and I played the piano and the harmonica.

Texted my crush throughout the night and apparently she always wanted to play the keyboard and I'll be teaching her some of the basics, so thats super cool because its gonna be something that we regularly do

So I'm working from home (and is a young boi) so my entire family is literally throwing a socially distant party. I can hear the music from here and I can't waaaait for my shift to end!
