Are there any truly lightweight browsers these days?

Or should that computer just be browser free from now on? Hmmm

The netbook runs debian with xfce right now.

@maloki I've looked into this quite a bit, and the issue appears appears to be a mix of mainstream websites and the large number of standards browsers have collectively decided to implement. In large part I blame JavaScript.

So the only graphical web browsers I can consider lightweight are NetSurf & Dillo.

Though there's also Lynx, etc for the commandline and I'm implementing Rhapsode to be a voice assistent/web browser.

@alcinnz Yeah, I know it's a bit of a mess. And it's not really the browsers fault.

We need to start creating more accessible web. Sustainable web.

@maloki @alcinnz This is why we need more basic, low CSS, pure text content, static websites!
