Signal's extremely convoluted backup/restore process plus insistence on ignoring platform emoji mean I actively hate using it. Not a good thing for a chat app trying to gain widespread adoption.

@akzel yes. Not really a replacement for 1:1 texts. Also yet another app and service to convince everyone to use which just doesn't fly anymore.
