@ThePlant I don't know where they got the idea Linux gaming was great pre Valve/proton. You couldn't run much of anything on Wine.

You didn't not have it much better even with "native Linux" games. You basically had to use Ubuntu. With any other distro it was a gamble.

You had to deal with random issues all the time.

I understand it is much better since but I still use Windows to game to this day. It's hard to switch when everything just works on Windows.
