I need some help adding info to this issue: https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/issues/3245 with #postmarketos edge on #oneplus6. The audio was working for a while, but since a couple of days the distorted audio is back. I have tried installing and uninstalling pipewire-alsa. Sometimes I can do one phone call with the audio ok, but the next call is distorted. I want to help troubleshooting, but I haven't been able to find any log files showing anything that seems related.
@pocketvj Interesting, I will disable suspend and see if it helps. @longnoserob Do you think it might be related to https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/issues/3245 ? #postmarketos #oneplus6
@tomasoqvist @pocketvj Honestly, I dont know. I do not own a OP6/6T, and on the Poco F1 which I own, I have less ausdio issues. Esp. as I mostly use audio via BT and no calls due to data-only sim a.t.m.
@tomasoqvist I am still using Pipewire. That has been a lot more stable on the OP6 for me in the past.
@tomasoqvist Uff I ment Pulseaudio!
@tomasoqvist
not exactly your case, but maybe an input:
when suspend is disabled audio stays crackle free for me.n
also copied the audio suspend patch:
https://codeberg.org/magdesign/sxmop6/src/commit/b6e1f627b5b928f5c45485a841813780667532a1/configs/51-disable-suspension.conf
to:
/etc/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf.d/
but maybe this is already standard, me not upgrading since months 🤞
