I am running the latest stable version of #postmarketos (23.12) on my Oneplus 6, and the #phosh version is 0.33.0. Is there a way to upgrade to the latest stable phosh release 0.39.0? #mobilelinux
@alaraajavamma Interesting, I might try that. Thanks
@tomasoqvist 24.06 is right around the corner. Wait until it's out and upgrade with postmarketos-release-upgrade then. 🙂
@linmob Thanks, will do that. I just happened to set up my 2nd #oneplus6 now with the stable branch of #postmarketos as my 1st was edge with #gnomemobile. Needed a more stable daily driver.
Also, with stable and phosh, I have had some trouble routing the audio to right speaker/mic. There is always an option called "Headphones", even if there are no headphones connected, and pmos seems to default to them and, hence, preventing audio in phone calls. Need a way to disable that audio option.
@tomasoqvist If you would like to stay in pmos stable as in stable then there are no recommended methods.
But because linux mobile is evolving rapidly fast my suggestion is to go for the edge.
This is not recommended but you could add edge mirrors to /etc/apk/repositories and then run sudo apk upgrade -a

I have done it many times and for me it did no harm at all. Backup might be wise before doing it still :).
