@igel development is slow because they're mainlining the kernel and what not
meanwhile raspberry pi requires a lot of modifications just to get it to boot

rockpro64 has pci-e and I'm using that for nas storage drives
and comparing arm socs, the rk3399 is faster than the one in rpi4
better sbc but more niche so fuck support and all
I'll just wait
@thebitstick I've previously considered getting a RockPro64 SBC as a mini server until I remembered I had an old HTPC from 2015. I've been concerned about the ecosystem as well so it's probably best for me to wait.

Somehow the ecosystem for the Pinebook Pro is better than the RockPro64, even though internally, they are the exact same device.
